Shaker Style Extension Table
This extension table, shown above without the leaves installed, is hand crafted out of cherry wood, and stained with a rich mahogany color. Most of our tables and pieces that will be subject to tough use receive a catalyzed varnish finish. We apply 4 coats, and hand rub the finish between each. This is a super finish that resists water damage, coffee cup rings, and all food spills. We offer many different finishes.
For those of you who don't have room for a larger table, an extension table is a great solution for those times when you need more table space. This table has a unique design to hold the leaves. Designed by Robert Delnero over 20 years ago, there is no "store bought" hardware at all to wear out over time. When this table is closed, it looks like a regular table. When fully opened, there is no compromise in strength on the ends or middle. This table will serve you well.
The dimensions are 100" long x 42" wide when extended 72" long x 42" wide when closed

The breadboard ends have hand pockets underneath, and are connected to support boards that run inside the table top. When closed there are no seams in the middle of the top, making a more attractive, and durable table.
Note the 4 steel pins that prevent the leaf from moving or tipping over when closed.
To add the leaves, simply pull open the breadboard end and set the leave in.
