Hand Forged Butterfly Hinge
This primitive cherry wash stand was wash-stained with yellow and then sanded and
antiqued. Other colors of wash are available.
The construction of this piece was all pinned mortise and tennon. The hinges and handle were forged in our own blacksmith shop.
It also features a hand soldered copper top insert, making it perfect for plants. The door is closed with a twist turn, which looks as worn as if it had seen decades of use. There is one shelf inside.
It measures 42" high, 32" wide, 13" deep.
