Our company has been building quality custom kitchen cabinetry for four generations. Dad and Gramps built sturdy cabinets from wide Northern White Pine planks.

Today, we utilize up to 25 different species of wood, and still use many of the fine wood­working tech­niques considered standard in the 19th century they taught us. We handcraft kitchens one at a time that yoke the rich legacy of the past with the convenience and technology of the present. At Delnero Furniture, we design and build for our customers, custom kitchens that are both a pleasure to use and an investment that will not be outdated.

We handcraft for homeowners, Architects, and Custom Builders, and Designers, delivering the finest quality custom cabinetry in Shaker, Arts & Crafts, Early American, Colonial, Mission, and Rustic styles. We can work with you to design your dream kitchen, or can build from plans provided by your Kitchen Architect or Designer.

Handcrafted to the same quality stan­dards as our fine furniture, Delnero custom cabinetry is set apart from all others by our atten­tion to detail and superior construction methods. Every custom kitchen involves attention to detail for every step along the way, from wood/board selection and planing, to joinery and finishing. Furthermore, we assume all responsibility for accuracy by measuring your kitchen space ourselves.

Our drawers run on your choice of tradi­tional wood runners or on Blum drawer slides with Blumotion.

Door styles include inset, lipped and overlay.

Truly Handcrafted

• All drawers boxes (sides, and backs) to be crafted out of solid 3/4" maple, faces of solid 7/8", and are dovetail constructed.

• All faces, doors, drawer fronts, and exposed paneled sides to be crafted of full 7/8" thick solid, not today's standard 3/4"

• All base cabinets to be a full 24 1/2" deep, and are built using framed con­struction methods, the industry's stan­dard for higher and more durable qual­ity.

• All upper cabinets to be a full 15" deep.

• All backs, bottoms, and non-exposed sides to be built of 3/4" furniture grade A 2 sided plywood.

• We hand turn all our own legs, and can turn any design desired.

• We custom build each cabinet to fit the actual space, so you can design or incorporate details not available in "standard width" mass produced cabinets.

• Optionally, the shelving can be made adjustable with brass grom­mets.

The Finishing Touch

Inside a portion of our wood shop, a large set of cherry kitchen cabinets await finish sanding before fitted with fully inset panel doors and dovetailed drawers.

• All our work is completely finished. The inside of the drawers and cupboards (behind doors) are sanded and finished with the same attention as the outside of the cabinets.

• Exterior Finish ... We can custom paint any color or effect desired. Over our custom stains we use 4 coats of catalyzed varnish, hand rubbed between coats, available in 4 different sheen selections.
