Tiger Maple Colonial Break Front Server
Quality, Built to Order by Delnero Custom Furniture Company
Custom Made Handcrafted Solid Hardwood Furniture
This beautiful tiger maple Colonial styled server was completely built by Robert M. Delnero, with help from his friend Joshua Gies.
Only 19 years old, and 17 years old respectfully, Bob is nearing Master Turner levels with his abilities at the wood lathe. A fourth
generation "Delnero Furniture Co." furniture maker, Bob turns legs with only chisels in hand as did his father, grandfather, and great
grandfather before him. An art that has not been commonly practiced for nearly 100 years, our lathes continue to not have any duplicating
devices on them. Dad used to say, "it's easy to turn the first leg, the tricky part is making the next three match it!"
Bobby and Josh chose stunning planks of tiger maple to build this 44" long x 36" high x 22" deep custom break front server. Click onto this image to enjoy a larger view of the tiger maple. The boys built the drawer fronts out of the same front skirt board cut outs, which adds a nice uniform appearance.
A shot of the back of the hand made server. The boys decided to use a tiger maple board in the back and finish the breakfront on all sides. The table can now be displayed out, away from the wall. They not only designed the server themselves, they laid out the shapes on the skirt boards and legs by hand.
