Solid American Butternut Colonial Credenza
Beautifully Hand Crafted Fine Furniture in Various Styles
The Delnero Family Furniture Co.
Built completely by hand as in days of ole, with solid planks of butternut secured together with mahogany pegs, and hand forged cut nails. Mortise and tendon
flat panel doors are adorned with hand forged butterfly hinges, re-forged in our own blacksmith shop, and hand turned mahogany and butternut knobs.
The 4 doors and 3 deep drawers provide ample storage in this 86" wide x 36" high x 24" deep, early Colonial styled Credenza. The top/counter was built of solid tiger maple, and easily holds 25 eight pound cases of freshly smoked beef bologna.
Bobby turned all the legs and custom knobs in the butternut kitchen this credenza was part of. He has learned the almost lost art of producing turnings completely by hand, with only chisels, a tape rule, calipers, and a good eye.
